Need to know more about your medicines? Are your symptoms related to your current medication?
Does this sound like you?
A medicines use review is an appointment with your local pharmacist to discuss how you are getting on with your medicines. It takes place in a private consulting room in your local pharmacy.
It is an NHS service - you don't need to pay for it! |
The meeting is your opportunity to:
-
find out more about your medicines and what they do
-
confirm that you understand when to take your medicines and how to take them
-
find out how your medicines mix with other medicines and supplements
-
discuss any side effects
-
talk about whether your symptoms are under control or not
-
feel confident that your medicines are working to benefit your health
You will receive a copy of the review as will your GP.
To be able to perform these reviews, our pharmacists have had to undertake additional training recognised by The Royal Pharmaceutical Society GB.
If you would like a medicines use review, please make an appointment with your local Swettenham Chemists.
